Kingstree Wood was planted to celebrate the Millenium. It was previously an arable/grass field. It has grown considerably since it was planted.

Note that the map of the wood shows a pond, however, it is no longer there.

Orange-tip butterfly – a female, without orange tips to the wings! The undersides are mottled green and white – very good camouflage on Cow Parsley.
