Page buoy
Robin Page left everyone in the audience buoyed up about conservation matters when he spoke at Halford Village Hall this evening. He had come to talk between trips to Dorset, where his Countryside Restoration Trust is busy raising funds at the moment. He mentioned the two Bs – badger and buzzard – both seen by him as predators that are having an adverse impact upon some wildlife… badgers eating hedgehogs; buzzards even taking lapwing chicks. A few controversial views expressed too, as per some of his newspaper columns!
