“Watch your commas”

The English teacher used to say “Watch your commas” when we were writing essays in class! I’ve been watching them all day… comma butterflies enjoying the autumn warmth outside as I sit by the computer inside!

Beautiful specimens on the windfall apples and one or two happily basking on bramble bushes. When they close their ragged rusty orange wings a pair of perfect white comma marks can be seen on their underside. Commas hibernate (maybe in your garden shed?) and will therefore be making the most of the current sunny spell.
