The taming of the shrew

A shrew was spotted right by the pavement at Glosters Green this morning – so “tame” it apparently allowed people to get close and personal. I’m told it had a lovely long pointed snout!

Also today – baby grass snake basking under the corrugated iron, a Red Admiral flew by, nuthatch calling in the churchyard limes and a Muntjac, in broad daylight, browsing by the road opposite the church in Loxley.
