Get it on

Put the moth trap on last night for the first time this year – the evening was calm and quite mild. Couldn’t expect too much in late April but this morning revealed a purple thorn (perfect specimen with rich brown mottling), a mullein moth (these can spend up to four years as a pupae!) and a brindled beauty (with wings in fifty shades of grey).
