Plenty of moths last night

Best moth trappingt of the summer last night – more than 30 species including elephant hawk, poplar hawk, peppered moth (famous for its ability to change colour in response to the former sooty conditions in industrial towns of the north), swallowtal (three perfect specimens), Hebrew character, lots of harts and darts, a cinnibar moth (striking black and red), green emerald, buff tip. yellow underwing, peach blossom, brimstone moth, magpie moth, etc… and a solitary ladybird! Hope the nights stay warm to help bring out a few more species!
