Swimming with wagtails

Some people swim with dolphins, a few risk swimming with sharks, but at Kineton you can swim with wagtails!

The outdoor pool at the High School is open for public swims at the moment and if you take a dip or a dive you will almost certainly spot the pied wagtails scurrying with fresh insects in their beaks. The nest is tucked away behind some timber work and they often land on top of the gantry for the pool cover before darting to feed nestlings.

The pool is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 4.30 -6.30 and will stay open for the first three weeks of the school holidays.
